Liver

Liver is a large and meaty organ  of our body  and some other animals .In human beings it sits on the right side of the belly. It's weight is about 3 pounds. The liver is reddish-brown in color and feels rubbery in touch. There is currently no way to compensate for the absence of liver function in the long term, although liver dialysis techniques can be used in the short term
  • It cleans your blood.
  • It detoxifies chemicals.
  • It metabolizes drugs.
  • It stores energy in the form of a sugar called glycogen.
  • It controls the production and removal of cholesterol.
  • It makes proteins important for blood clotting.
  • It produces an important digestive liquid called bile and this bile also absorbs important nutrients.
  • It produces immune factors and removes bacteria from your bloodstream to combat with diseases and infections.

Hepatitis Virus (HV)



Hepatitis Virus (HV) is a virus that cause a certain type of Hepatitis. There are several types of it. Hepatitis virus including A , B ,C , D , E , F and G.


  1. Hepatitis A is due to hepatitis virus A (HVA). 
  2. Hepatitis B is due to (HBV).
  3. Hepatitis C is due to (HCV).
  4. Hepatitis D is due (HDV).It is also called Delta Virus.And this virus is smaller circular and RNA virus.
  5. Hepatitis E is due to (HEV).
  6. Hepatitis F is due to (HFV).
  7. Hepatitis G is due to (HGV).

What is Hepatitis

The word "hepatitis" indicates the presence of inflammation in the liver. Once this inflammation begins, scar tissue (called fibrosis) may form.
Hepatitis is inflammation or swelling of liver due to Hepatitis virus HV.

What is Hepatitis A


Hepatitis A is a viral disease  and this disease  is due a virus (HAV).It causes mild to severe illness. HAV is one of several viruses that can cause hepatitis, and is one of the three most common hepatitis viruses in the United States. The other two common types are hepatitis B and hepatitis C; however, there are other named types such as D, E, F, and G, and more types may be discovered in the future.In the world , there are 1.4 million cases of Hepatitis A every year.This disease is associated with a lack of safe water and poor sanitation.Improved sanitation and the hepatitis A vaccine are the most effective ways to combat the disease.

Hepatitis A Symptoms

People, generally children less than five years old, show few or no symptoms.
The older children and adults,show the symptoms include:

  1. Jaundice
  2. Fever
  3. Nausea
  4. Abdominal discomfort
  5. Dark urine
  6. Yellow skin and eyes (jaundice)
  7. Feeling tired
  8. Muscle soreness
  9. Loss of appetite
  10. Diarrhea
  11. Light colored stools.
Symptoms of hepatitis A can occur 2 to 7 weeks after coming into contact with the virus.In Case of Hepatitis A full recovery is possible.

Hepatitis A causes



  • Hepatitis A is spread due to ingestion of contaminated food , water fruits and  other items.
  • It is also spread due to direct contact with an infected person. 
  • In short this disease is closely related  to  other infections, toxic substances (e.g. alcohol, certain drugs).
  • Autoimmune diseases can also cause hepatitis.
  • Eat raw shellfish harvested from water that is got the virus in it.
  • Swallow anything contaminated.
  • By using brush of an infected person and uninfected person.
  • By eating raw oysters or under cooked clams.
  • Children in diapers can get stool and when they will touch other objects the other children may put these objects into their mouths.
  • The Mother or workers may get HAV if they don't wash their hands well after changing the diaper.
  • Men who have sex with men and with other infected person.
  • The House wife and home made if doesn't wash her or his hands well after using a bathroom and then touch objects those use in preparing in food or other objects that of use of other person. 
  • By eating food made by an infected person who didn’t wash his or her hands after using the bathroom.
  • When a worker providing child care.
  • Journey to countries where hepatitis A is common.
  • The disease can also be spread sexually by oral or anal contact
